About The Northwest Review of Books
The Northwest Review of Books is an online magazine of book reviews and literary essays. Founded in Portland, Oregon, in 2014, The Northwest Review of Books aims to continue the discussion of valuable literature, whether it is new or old, famous or obscure.
The Northwest Review of Books is currently seeking work from new contributors. If you have a literary essay or book review that you would like to publish on our website, visit our online submissions manager or send us a query letter.
Before submitting, please read through some of the pieces on our website to get an idea of what kind of work we are looking for.
All submissions must be previously unpublished.
We do not have strict guidelines for submissions, but we recommend that you keep them between 1,000 - 5,000 words.
The Northwest Review of Books pays contributors $80 per piece.
Submissions for the print issue are currently closed.
